 The latest Entrepreneurially Thinking podcast is live!

From the early days of high performance computing to the cutting edge of Big Data, Artificial Intelligence and Internet of Things – a lot of things have changed.  And much of that change is happening right here in St. Louis. Fueled by his own personal passion for technology and desire to bring together a learning community, Gary Stiehr created StampedeCon in 2012. Now, five years later, StampedeCon includes three conferences annually – the newest is StampedeCon AI on October 17, 2017. Each conference features an array of talented presenters and attracts top talent in the fields of data generation, analysis and application. It’s also a great place for those new to the field, offering them a place to learn about the latest advancements and trends, and expand their network.

Gary spent some time with us to explore the changes in computer and data science, as well as the ways in which StampedeCon has put St. Louis on the map, attracting presenters from local startups like 1904Labs and Ariel Insights and experts from Monsanto, Boeing and Shutterstock, among others. We contemplate what it is like to analyze the data being collected and create new technologies that create data that never existed before…think about what it means to take tens of trillions of data points and combine them with the amazing minds that know how to create, capture and unlock the knowledge from the noise.
