In May of 1965, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. addressed to the Negro American Labor Council stating, “there must be a better distribution of wealth within this country for all God’s children.” From then to now our nation’s economic divide continues to widen. In his Nobel Peace Prize address he asserted, “There is nothing new about poverty. What is new, however, is that we have the resources to get rid of it.”. When we come back, we will learn more about the National MBA Association of Metro St. Louis. The organization who leads in the creation of educational opportunities and economic growth for African Americans through programs, partnerships and career opportunities in management.
